May Moore
I am a self taught artist who has enjoyed the pleasures of drawing and painting since I was a small child. Living out along the beautiful Bay of Fundy all my life, I have taken my inspirations from the world around me and now being married with three boys I take from these experiences too to compose my subjects. I enjoy working with acrylic paints but also use such mediums as watercolour, pen and ink and pencil crayons. I have been a member of the Saint John Art Club for many years now and display throughout it's galleries in the eastside of the city and the main gallery in Market Square. I also operate a small gallery in my own home called " Moore's Specialties " from May till October 30th.
Many of my paintings have traveled world wide and hang in many personal collections. This is the satisfaction I receive from my paintings, knowing that they are being admired and maybe mean something to someone.
